GameBox is committed to protecting your online privacy. The following policy explains how your personal information will be used when you register for a GameBox account. If we are going to use customers' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify customers by posting a notice on our website for 30 days.
1. DISCLOSURES OF YOUR INFORMATION
GameBox does not give, sell, rent, share, or trade any identifiable personal information regarding our members to any third party, with the exception of third-party contractors or service providers, such as ad serving partners, photo printing partners and other fulfillment agencies who work with the GameBox to provide the GameBox Service, and who are contractually prohibited from other use of the information. 2. GAMEBOX
GameBox provides members with online storage space, which can be used to store, share, access and protect members’ data and information. GameBox is a web-based service, and we require, at minimum: user name, first name, last name, password, valid email address, and country. All information collected as a result of your subscription to the GameBox Service will be controlled by GameBox.
3. ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM AND COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
GameBox collects personal information upon registration. During registration for a free account, GameBox typically will ask for your name and email address. When upgrading to a paid account or placing an order for photo prints, GameBox will ask for your credit card information, billing and shipping information in order to provide you uninterrupted service. Once registered, you become a part of GameBox community, a member account is created, and you can take full advantage of GameBox’s services.
In addition to registration we may ask you for personal information at other times, including immediately following the registration process, when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by GameBox, and when you report a problem with the service or with your account. If you contact GameBox we will keep a record of the correspondence.
GameBox members use the services to store data and information, such as files, folders, contacts, favorite sites, photos, calendar data, and other data. GameBox will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such data except as outlined in the Terms of Service or as may be required by law.
4. COOKIES
GameBox uses a feature of your Internet browser called a "cookie" to assign a unique identification to your computer. Cookies are files that your Web browser places on your computer's hard drive. Cookies can be used to help save and retrieve passwords used on the GameBox Network and to save information on past activities and other preferences. That way, you don't have to reenter information upon every visit to the GameBox service. GameBox creates and then uses these cookie files to track your clicks as you go through sites within the GameBox Network. GameBox uses cookies for the benefit of users. GameBox also uses cookies to identify which sites our repeat visitors are coming from. GameBox does not and cannot use cookies to retrieve personal information about you from your computer unless such information was knowingly and willingly provided by you.
GameBox may also record your IP address for system administration, monitoring, and fraud prevention purposed. IP addresses are not linked or cross-referenced with any personally identifiable information.
5. SECURITY OF ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND DATA
When you register for a GameBox account or at a later time, the join page or an upgrade form may ask you for sensitive information, such as your credit card number. Information collected on such forms is encrypted and is protected with industry standard SSL encryption. While on a secure page, such as our join page, the padlock icon on the bottom of most Web browsers becomes locked.
Your GameBox account information and data are password protected so that you, and only you, have access to this personal information. You may edit your GameBox account information by logging into our website.
We required that you do not tell, share, or give away your password to anyone. GameBox will never ask you for your password, in an email or by phone. Also, remember to log out of your GameBox account and close your browser window when you finish your work. This is suggested to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and data if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe.
6. AD-SERVING
GameBox contracts with third party ad-serving companies to display advertisements on the GameBox web pages, for Free Accounts. You agree that these companies may place cookies on your computer, and You acknowledge that GameBox will use reasonable efforts to obtain from our ad-serving contractors contractual restrictions to use such cookies only for the purpose of fulfilling their ad-serving obligations to us.
7. EXTERNAL LINKS
GameBox website may contain links to other companies and their websites. GameBox is not responsible for and makes no representations about the privacy practices of such companies or the content of their websites.
8. CORRECTING OR UPDATING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
You can edit your GameBox account information at any time by accessing your account, your profile information can be modified by clicking on the “My Profile” page, once you are logged in.
Your GameBox account can be easily deleted or deactivated at anytime. Doing so will result in losing access to your account data and information stored on your account.
9. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
By registering to use the GameBox service, you agree to accept this Privacy Policy and are aware that GameBox’s privacy policy may change from time to time.
